I made some whole-wheat sandwiches spread inside with a fruit jam. Very tasty and at the same time healthy...who can beat that?

I think we're having chicken today with rice made in a white wine sauce it truly is beautiful in all honesty.

I've actually had this dish the past three nights in a row I suppose it's not the best for a healthy balanced diet but it's nice anyway. I'll mix it up for the rest of the week but for now more rice and chicken for me!

If you mean what's for mealtime, then it would have to be something simple. It's really hot here, so I'm not much in the mood for cooking elaborate meals. I save the more elaborate dishes for winter time, when I can keep the stove on for a longer time. The residual heat helps warm the kitchen. Most times, we have something very simple for supper, no fuss deli rotisserie chicken or sandwiches or spaghetti or meatloaf. Nothing very fancy, though. It's just too much effort. Besides, my daughter has five or six favorite meals and that is ALL she will eat, no matter what else I cook. So, for time and money saving measures, I limit myself to those things and we all seem to be happy with the results.

Well, we had shrimps with oyster sauce and garlic! :) It was really really good as it was a balance between saltiness and sweetness. It had lots of garlic too so I loved eating it. We ate it with Green tea and it's such a healthy drink that I love drinking it all the time. :p
