The hospitals are there to help you on a more stable path, to keep you safe, to give you someone to talk with....

Have you ever had to have a stay in a 'mental Health' Hospital?

    Why was you admitted?

Do you feel it helped you at all?

Would you feel able to ask your team to help you by re-admitting you at any time for your safety?

I've only been in once voluntary though was told if I left or tried leaving I would be sectioned under the mental health act and stopped and forced to stay for assessment so it wasn't really voluntary.

I was in there for three days and it was hell I hated it, it was like prison I think the NHS should have special wards in place to deal with young adults there was nothing to stimulate my mind and it made me feel worse I'd never want to go back there again.

Luckily after three days and talking to the doctors they deemed me as sane and let me go thankfully.

But no I'd never want to go back there again no matter how unsafe I felt.

^ I have to agree that that place was horrible, I hated even visiting it.

I've been in hospital before, I hated it and I never want to go back.

I was in the hospital after smoking too much weed and losing my housing. I stayed for 5 months and got discharged one month ago.
