My daughter was almost nine pounds and my doctors thought that was really big. But, that's nothing compared to how my little brother weighed well over ten pounds. He was a big baby. So, big babies run in my family. He was the last baby my mom had. And, now that I'm a mom, I can understand why. Giving birth to such a large baby is no easy feat. How much did your baby/babies weigh when they were born?
Mine were fairly big babies... my first was 8lb 8oz (daughter) my second was 9lb 2oz (son) my third was 9lb 5oz (son) I think the only 1 I had problems delivering was my first one (my daughter) my boys were easy
Very nice sized babies, very healthy I'm sure. My nutritionist told me he'd rather see a mom to be gain a couple extra pounds and deliver a healthy baby than have her diet and lose weight and deliver a preemie who wasn't healthy. I tried to eat healthy but toward the last three months, I was SO hungry all the time. It was difficult getting out to the store to buy real healthy food. Anyway, that's what I get for letting a man do my grocery shopping.
