For the first year, I used cloth diapers or nappies as you called them. They were very high maintenance and sometimes, I would spend up to two hours daily washing. I didn't have a washing machine so it was a very laborious process. Then my hubby suggested we change to the disposable diapers, just so I would have more free time and not be so tired out at the end of the day. It was very useful having disposable diapers, though I know they are not good for the environment. Still, it was nice not having to work so hard. Even after day time potty training was over, we used the diapers for night times and they worked out well.
