Have you been bullied in the past?
If so how did it make you feel?
Does it still effect you to this day?
If you could say one thing to the people who bullied you what would it be?
Can you ever forgive your bullies?

In the past I've been bullied but also bullied.

It wasn't a severe case of bullying just poking fun at people and people poking fun at me but I obviously don't know what that did to the person deep down for those who bullied me I've always been the type of person able to laugh it off for the people I've bullied when I was younger maybe they were not able to laugh it off.

I am deeply sorry and would never bully anyone now and if I ever see bullying going on I try to prevent it, I just don't want to pretend to be someone I'm not or hide from my past I've done things I'm not proud of but I've learnt from my mistakes.

Hope all of you are ok , in my opinion bullies are such cowards, there unhappy so they pick on someone thathas the things they want.
I myself was bullied by one of my family members, it resulted in the school being involved and my dad beliving them over me, before he found out what was really happening,i now no longer see this family member other than on odd family occasions but i never speak to them.
well done everyone for talking about this, it takes courage x

I can see where your coming from here a lot who have been bullied turn to bullying.

It's sad, what frustrates me more these days is seeing people my age or even older who still go around bullying I've been a victim of this. Now I'm not saying bullying is ever OK but it's kind of inevitable as kids that everyone will at some point during there school days experience bullying but it frustrates me to see people doing it as adults.

You think people would mature but clearly not everyone.

I was bullied in elementary school, however now in high school no one bothers to bully me. I became stronger than others - and I'm still smarter than them :) Anyway, the only way to protect from bullies is to become stronger than them. Or just become sarcastic person like House M.D. :)

I have been bullied but it wasnt that serious. I have never been beat up. It was just verbal and it didnt last too long but just from that I know that it doesnt feel good. It makes me feel really self-conscious. It has no effect on me today either.

I've been bullied once when I was like 15.. I don't even know if you would consider this bully..

So like I went on a chalet with one of my friend who happened to be in a gang, and they went on and drank a lot of alcohol.. So after the whole thing was over, we went home and the next day the whole bunch of them showed up after my class and said I touched their girl, so like 5 or 6 of them started to whack me with flexible-ruler, chairs, tables.. anything they could find in my classroom..

I didn't feel anything because I really pitied them, as for pain, it did hurt but I didn't care because I was shocked that I'm accused of touching a girl (I was innocent lol). The girl believed them and even slapped me, that sucked really bad. (Asian culture)

After that incident I started to not trust people. I'll look twice when I meet new friends and I'll try to find out anyone's real intention when they talk to me. It's really crazy because that friend happened to be someone I trusted.

If I could say one thing to them, it'll definitely be that I'm still more successful in life compared to you losers. They're probably rotting somewhere out in the streets for all I know. :p

    Nope, never forgive them.

As a matter of fact, I have been bullied in the past, and I still am! It makes me feel like I am looked down upon and unwanted. Since I am still bullied today, it does effect me still! If I could say one thing to the people who bullied me, I would say, "You are forgiven".

I was bullied quite recently in High School.
There is this prick in my P.E. class who always makes fun of people so, me and my friend decided to get revenge by smearing all this crap on his P.E. locker, then the following day he threatened to stab me.
I got worried for a bit and, my mom freaked out and, was considering to move as, my brother almost got shot.
Personally I can't forgive my bully, what he did was unacceptable.
It no longer affects me as, I realized that he is just a skinny, rich spoiled brat.

I was never bullied and it's odd because me and my friends were the outsiders of the school. I was just really shy and was considered 'stuck up' by some just because I did not talk to them. My best friend was a girl who had grown up with five brothers and a dad so she always wore boy clothes, no makeup and had weird ways. Another was a handicapped girl who was mostly outed because her brother was also handicapped and he used to make scenes in the cafeteria because of his condition. And there was a few others that just did not fit in other groups so they became our friends. I never saw any of my friends be bullied either but I am glad that we did not get hurt by other stupid kids.

Being a petite girls sometimes has its disadvantage but I am definitely not the type to be bullied. :D I love exercising my right and I know the word "self-defense" exists. So when someones tries to bully me and I couldn't control myself, gets physical and ends up injuring him (despite my being a girl) and sends him/her off to the hospital with broken bones all over.

I did let one girl slap me once. She was my friends worst enemy, she recognized me as her enemy's friend and slapped me on one cheek, but if she also slapped my other cheek I was pretty sure she wouldn't have lived to see the Sun rise the next day.

I have been bullied virtually and physically. All of those were bullying me for no exact reason and i am not really sure why they pick me. Told my parents about the incident and they told me to just ignore them. Few weeks later, they stopped what they were doing.

When I was young, I was very shy and quiet but I was excellent in school and participated in any class activities and recitation, that's why other children respected me. I spent my free time teaching other children to read when I was in school, that's the reason I have many friends. I tried to get bullied but not worst. I've been bullied in the past because of my father left when I was 4 and also because I have a big eyes. :D

Yes, I have been bullied my whole life, and still I got bullied sometimes.
But I just accept it and ignore them.

I got bullied a few times in school back in the day. See, when I was younger I didn't have the same mentality I do now. I never threw punch back right away. I was always the little good boy that ran and told the parents or the teacher.

But as you get older you realize that doesn't do anything for you. The only way to get rid of a bully is to fight back. And fight back with full force and meaning without holding back. I learned that you have to make your assailant fear you to get them off your back.

I know some of you don't like to be violent. But it's the only way. It would be an ideal world if you could say "please stop doing that". But that simply doesn't and won't work.

I was bullied because I was the 'foreign kid' and kids were always getting in my face about it. It stopped once I took kung-fu and pushed a kid into a wall. That was all it took to get everyone off my back. Once they know you'll fight back, they'll leave you alone. At least that was my experience. Also it tends to stop after high school. If you're ever bullied in an office, you can go to HR and get them fired.

That's about the worst thing you can do. You need to punch one of them.
