I've only ever been pregnant with my daughter and then just before she was conceived there was a very early miscarriage with another baby (during the first month). At the time, I didn't even know I was pregnant, cause it was barely a month in then the bleeding started and lasted for 14 days. After the eighth day, I realized it wasn't the normal menstrual cycle as before but was something really wrong inside my body. About a month or so after that, my daughter was conceived. I still wonder what the other baby would have been like. But, I also recognize that I would not have my daughter now if the other baby had been, cause the female body can only go through one pregnancy at a time. So, my heart is broken and healed all in the same instant. The other baby was not meant to be. I cannot be too sad cause I have my daughter and she has me and that is really what matters.
