For years I've been involved in something that I call creative writing. It's the idea that I can work with the Law of Attraction by writing about something I'd like to attract. I usually begin with a positive affirmation. Sometimes I write about a material thing that I want and sometimes I write about personal growth or soul requests. An example of a soul request was when I was thinking, talking about or writing about releasing negative baggage from my childhood. I no longer wanted to hold grudges against people who had wronged me from the past. I began writing about being free to forgive and love everyone. It was just a matter of time before I was introduced to a program where I could enroll to resolve past issues. A few years ago I had a small apartment where my living room was also my bedroom. I wanted to attract a sleeper sofa so I could fold it up at certain times...and sleep on it...when I was tired. I began writing about a sleeper sofa that I wanted to have. It was just a matter of time before I met a woman who was preparing to relocate. She wanted to get rid of some furniture to make her move an easier and more pleasant experience. She called me and asked me if I'd like to have her sleeper sofa because she didn't need it for her new home. When I work with the Law of Attraction...everything I need...seems to fall easily into place. Do any of you believe that if you write something down...you can make it happen?
It seems to be a good principle to live by. I like to try to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. I may need to learn more about what you are saying. However, I always like to feel encouraged and this post is one of the things that has encouraged me.
I haven't always know about this concept. I learned about working with the Law of Attraction about 20 years ago and I've been playing and experimenting with it since then. There's a book and movie called "The Secret" where people discuss working with this law and how it has made a difference in their lives. Personally...knowing that I can use the power of my mind to improve my life...and the lives of people I interact with...is very emotionally uplifting for me.
