We all live in a generation were everything is just within our fingers. Life seemed to be as easy as one, two and three. But if you were to choose which is better? Yahoo messenger or Skype? And why do you say so? I like Skype better because it has good video calls than Yahoo messenger.
Even though I really don't like Yahoo mail but I would say that Yahoo Messenger is not that bad. But when it comes too Skype vs Yahoo Msg, then i think skype is way better. I heard Microsoft has bought skype and now they will make it even better
I'll have to agree with you guys that Yahoo isn't that good in comparison to Skype. Skype is one of the best communication tools that is used worldwide, it provides a very good quality of video chatting and all that depending on the internet speed that you have. They also have a very cheap service to call land lines and mobile phones worldwide.
I really didn't like Yahoo messenger when I used it. It was too sluggish and definitely not user friendly. Since I started using Skype, it has become my main way of calling and communicating with others. I'm also thinking about getting an adapter to use it away from the computer. I love my Skype.
I still like Yahoo Messenger for IM. I don't really use Skype unless I need to make an international call. I have a longer Yahoo list as well. I never attempted to find more people on Skype.
I am using both of them. I use Yahoo messenger to IM my friends and make the use of the fabulous voip features of Skype. They both have their advantages as they have disadvantages but it all depends on how you plan to use them. They are different software and thus we cannot compare them.
I am still using Yahoo Messenger daily as I do have friends who also uses it. And same as I, they do not have Skype since we could also chat on Facebook too. I am already get used to Yahoo Messenger and I find it user friendly for me.
My friends are also using Yahoo messenger daily so I still prefer it over Skype. Though I can see that Skype has great features and the images are clearer when using its video call. I know more people here in the country use YM as well for communicating so it is also what I use to communicate with my clients.
Why are we comparing only these two? What about MSN Messenger? I love Skype. Skype all the way! It has great video quality and less spam. I used to use Y! before Skype came out, but now I hardly even use it.
