What did you think of the Royal Wedding ;-)

What did you think of the Royal wedding, did you spend the time to watch thier happy fairy tail wedding or did you go and sink a few pints.:flapper:

I did not watch it and will probably never watch it or read the reviews. It's just not something that entertains me.

For people who never have any inkling or slight understanding of the true history and significance of the royal family with our modern times, it was just another event among all the events happening on that day all over the world.

But for people who see some worth as far as this earthy throne is concerned, then it is worth a celebration. I won't go deeper of the significance of this royal dynasty becasue I am sure I will just be raising eyebrows.

Suffice it to say that this royal family has a big role played and will play in history.

I think that they get too much attention for just a wedding,
That is my opinion.

I watched it on TV because, they being royals, it is a historic event. That, and I am in love with Westminster Abbey and wanted to peek inside it once again.

I didn't watch it, but saw very little on youtube after it was over. I think it's a bit pointless to be honest. In a wedding, you do this you do that, you say a few words, you kiss, you do this you do that....It's then over.... You then look at the world around you and ask, "whats changed?" Nothing much. Though seriously, I'm sure a wedding can be special to some, but this was made out to be extra special. It's just two other people, and JUST another wedding. Wup... That's what I think of it.

I did not watch it live as it was 4 or 5am here in NJ but I saw parts of it online in the morning ( First thing I did that morning to get a glimpse of Kate's wedding dress) and the coverage Katie Courik did here in the US. It was a historic event indeed, the future king and Queen got married!!! It was beautiful, however I was shocked to see how much weight Kate lost, I thought it was a bit too much.. however, she looked great in her wedding gown. I just wished she wouldnt had lost so much weight, I thought her previous weight was perfect.

I did not watch it. I don't really care much of it. Yes, they are the royal family, and they must have made great contribution to history, but other than that, I do not really care for it.
I think that there are much more issues needing coverage rather than this.
