One of the things my mother told me is that women love small surprises from time to time. And this is a tried technique according to my father to deepen the bond especially that of a husband wife. And I really mean small surprises -- you don't have to buy an expensive diamond ring to get into it though she would not mind if you can afford one. Personally, in a single month, I set aside a day when I am the one cleaning the house and do the cooking for her and the whole family. Plus, I don't forget to bring her a bouquet of flowers even if there is no important occasion. Of course, I don't do it everyday so I just follow spontaneity. If she likes spontaneous actions it could be some weekend-trip to a lake or some wellness clinic or a relaxing weekend where you as the man manage the household like you mentioned above. Little suprises are often more appreciated and the rest in her mind for a long time.
