It is a great way to connect to some people in your area of expertise and once you think of getting a job it is really good to have a profile on it. How many of u guys is using it?
LinkedIn is an excellent way to get the word out about your forum or blog, especially if you join a group on the site that allows the use of signature line. The important point to remember is that you need to add relevant content to any group you join so it's not perceived as SPAM. LinkedIn is the perfect place to establish yourself as an expert in your niche.
I think LinkedIn is a cheaper-looking version of Facebook. I personally dislike it, and they're losing stock from what I heard.
I use LinkedIn but I mostly send automated status messages to it from other sites. I do, however, have a small group of connections on that site.
I've had an account for a few years, but never really did anything with it. I've heard plenty of people say how good it is for networking with others for business. Once I finish my new website, I'll jump into it again.
LinkedIn is a nice social networking sites which enables you to keep in touch with your colleagues and even future employers. They have a feature where some colleagues can recommend your services and in general its a great way to be part of a community of people from your field. But I've seen people listen their complete bio-data over there, seems they don't care about the information they are putting online.
I use it to look up potential colleagues or employers, but I haven't taken the time to really update my profile. I don't have a lot of experience and I don't want my profile to look too empty. Maybe later!
I was on this particular social networking site for quite some time. Its a great tool to make new contacts in your field of work and you can also keep in touch with your present and past colleagues. It also has this feature where your employers/colleagues can leave a small recommendation on your profile for employers who might want to get in touch with you.
