We're thinking about getting a puppy, but I'm worried it will bite playfully and later on that will become a serious problem. When I was a kid, our puppy nipped and it could be very painful. At some point, he stopped the play biting, but some dogs don't. I'm assuming it's all in play but when kids get bit even a little bit by a puppy/dog (even if the animal is playing), it can result in a serious wound. How do you discourage the biting habit? Do some dogs play bite more than others?
