How would YOU know if you was in love? What are the signs you look for? How do you class the word 'love'? (everyone has different thoughts on this)
Well i find love comes from deep within mrs debs, and useually from expereince love is someone you can wait years for. Some of us are lucky and can have it come to us much earlyer than others. but all the same. Love should make your tummy flutter and the other person should blow your mind lol
Just to repeat what landman said I think it's a number of things fluttering in the tummy feeling you can't live or be without someone they're your first thought of the morning and last thought at night. But most importantly I think love is different for everyone. There have been so many times I've thought I've been in love and then met someone who makes me feel stronger or love in a different way. So I think love comes in different forms and I think when we are in love we just know it but like I said there are many different levels of love like loving your mum is different to loving a partner or a pair of shoes or your xbox etc. Also this song answers the question well lol (couldn't resist)
I believe love can take so many different forms sometimes you have to leave that person before you realise you ever loved them. Love is when you accept that person knowing them inside and out, flaws and all like my boyfriend is really paranoid and i hate when he leaves his socks on the bed i don't know why but it really does my nut in. But i adore him, he's my best friend aswell as my lover. When im sad, happy, hysterical he's there with a bag of skittles and will just listen to me i know he loves me because he'll drop everything to make sure i'm okay and i know i love him because when we're in a room with a group of people he's the only one who gets my attention. After six months i still look at him and think 'man i am so lucky to have him' and i fall for him all over again because he makes me happy, not the type of happy your friend makes you when they get you a free drink the unconditional happy that can come just from them lookin at you.
If you become selfless and you have him on your mind all day long i would say you are in love. Being in love is a special feeling which can be easily reganized by the person involved. You will want to spend every second with him without feeling bored - thats love, the sweetest thing in the world.
Falling in love is so easy. It's staying in love is the hard part. If you saw or met someone and i'd gives you sleepless nights cause you are so excited to see her or him again, you are in love. But when she's or he's around you'll panic and find hard to compose yourself. If being away from him or her for just an hour felt eternity, you're in love. And you can't stop thinking of her and makes you want to be pee whenever it reminds you of her smile, you're obviously smittened. But, these are just few of the symptoms that a person is in love. To be honest, those are my symptoms. hehehe
When you can't imagine your life without the other person and worry about them constantly when they are out too late and wonder if they are doing well, that's when you know it's love. At least, that's my test for enduring love. Love at first sight or first love might feel different. For a long term relationship, there's a different standard for how love feels. It's not always the passionate fiery feeling. But, it's still just as real.
Well for me it is hard to tell when I am truly in love because I am impulsive and I get easily infatuated. I am usually in LALA LAND for the first couple of months LOL. Love is someone who sticks around when times get though.
When the person your with becomes your every thought, and you think of them above yourself. That's how you know your in love with a person.
I believe you know you love someone truly when you can't function without them in your life. Are they the first thing you think about and stay in your mind the rest of the day? Thats love. Is something as simple as holding hands or laying down hugging as good as the best vacation you ever took? Thats love. Oh and for guys, when you are actually thinking about commiting to her? Now THAT is love.
If he is clouding your mind unable to focus on your tasks, then, that's love. You often poke around the cellphone looking if he has messages left for you or attempted to send him just to know you are okay even if he never asked. You smile like a fool even to strangers and start daydreaming at night. Love is mysterious just like the emotions that binds it. It's wonderful to be in love but depressing if it turns to break up. Just savor what it is today and never expect too much.
Loving someone and 'being in love' are two different things. I can love my children and still think clearly. Being in love is the same as being twitterpated. It's looking for your car keys all over the place while your holding the keys in your hand. The feeling of 'being in love' is like an illegal drug that you'll probably never be arrested for having. It's also a feeling of being vulnerable because there is the potential that your heart can be broken if that love isn't a two-way street. The feeling of 'being in love' is a pretty powerful motivating force for some people. I've seen people lose a lot of weight to fit into a wedding dress because they're 'high' on the feeling of being in love and wanting to be...the best they can be...for the other person. The feeling of 'being in love' is positive for some people and negative for others. When I'm in love I wake up thinking of a certain person and I go to sleep thinking of them...as well.
I think the flaw with this question is that it assumes that love just 'happens'. I think love is a choice. You choose to love a person and you can choose not to. As for being in love, I think if your heart beats faster, your palm sweats, you blush...and basically have all those 'physical' symptoms and would like to think of being in love as having a giant crush.
