Some people seek a love relationship because they're unhappy being alone. Do you expect someone to make you happy?
I don't "expect" my boyfriend to make me happy but he does ... Why? because we love and care for each other and do the best we can to make each other happy. I fell in love with my boyfriend not only because of his personality, sense of humor or his good looks but because we got along and had a great time when we were together. There are people that do fine when they are single but others feel that they need a partner to be happy, unfortunately just because you have a significant person in your life does not mean you WILL be happy. It takes two people to make a relationship work and unless the couple is committed to the relationship and each other that relationship will not work. It works both ways- nobody should expect for one person to come into their life, sweep them off their feet and magically make them happy.. It takes two to make a relationship work and be in a happy relationship.
