Dede Koswara, better known as "tree man," in his home village of Bandung, Java, Indonesia, is suffering from a rare condition. Koswara spent much of his life covered in tree-like warts until he underwent surgery in 2008 to have over 4-pounds of them removed from his body. Dede's ordeal began when he was 15 and cut his knee in an accident. A small wart developed on his lower leg and spread uncontrollably.His wife of ten years left him as it became impossible for him to support her and their two children.
He was on the discovery channel years ago apparently he has had all these removed though was told there was a chance they coulD all come back and regrow so not sure how he is now. Must be difficult to lead a normal life like that he put himself in a freak show just so he could bring money in for his family because he couldn't get a job doing anything else. I hope the warts didn't regrow and he is now able to live a fairly ordinary life poor guy.
