Alton Towers is the UK´s most popular theme park, although the visitors who come to enjoy the thrilling rides and the historic grounds are mostly unaware of its status as one of the most haunted sites in England. The Towers, the derelict Gothic mansion which gives the park its name, has been the location of so much reported paranormal activity that it has been featured on Living TVs´ program “Most Haunted”. Also, at the head of a flight of stone steps not far from the main gates to the park, a gigantic oak tree stands with its branches shacked together by heavy rusted chains, perhaps put there to ward off a curse. What are your thoughts I've been on Hex the ride and heard the story wasn't sure whether it was true or not. Do you think this is just for publicity to pull people in and get more visitors to the park or do you think it's actually haunted?
