To tweet or not not to tweet. That is a complicated question. The incredible attraction social networking sites exert is proving hard to resist. A lot of people make use of these sites at work also. Does this impact on the work they do ? What is your opinion on the subject ?
Although I love social media networks, it has to be limited in order to have a productive workforce. While I was working in a call center at one point employees had full access to the Internet. It had gotten so bad that representatives were placing customers on hold to interact with others on Facebook and Twitter. Just unbelievable.
We have internet access where I work, and I have to say that some people misuse this service as they are always online on FB or Twitter. Just the other day, I was expecting an important message and the guys who was suppose to send that was busy on farmville and he completely forgot about it. I had to walk 2 storeys up and pressurize him to send me the mail.
