Which do you prefer and why?

I prefer Wireless controllers because you're free to move around while you play games. The only minus about wireless controllers is that some require you to keep them charged like the PS3.

Can't really add anything to what you already said, I think everyone would prefer a wireless controller nothing like sitting on your sofa while playing at home without having to pull a chair right up to the TV screen.

I'll also vote for wireless I hate wires in general they get tangled and make things far more complicated than they need to be wireless is more convineant in every way if you ask me.

My 360 controller batteries actually last pretty damn long considering how much I used to play.

I prefer wireless too because I often pull the console from its stand by the time I finished moving around with it lol I arent very good at sitting still with them so wireless gives me the freedom I need to play a game

Wired main reason being i dont need to keep charging the controller all the time and with the amount of time i spend gaming having to charge the controller is a pain lol

lol your telling me since i got my first xbox ive spent nearly £100 on batteries so how i have a wired one and a charging station with the battery pack lol

Wireless if it's decent. Simple as that lol. When it comes to gaming you need to make sure it's not going to lag on you though. I have not had this problem though when it comes to PC games and my wireless laser (IR) logitech mouse.

    Wireless all the way!!!
It just makes things look nicer and better :p

Just buy a docking station that charges your controllers when you are not using them :)

Dang, who has wired controllers these days lol? Even PC controllers are wireless now. How ever to answer your question I prefer wireless controllers.

In my house, my couch is about 10 feet away from my TV, so I obviously need a wireless controller! I would love to have a wired controller that can extend 10 feet, but I doubt that there is a such thing. I hate getting new batteries every other week!

I personally prefer wireless, because I tend to play a lot of Call of Duty so, I'm moving around a lot screaming at the noobs. The battery life is easily 2+ days.

Can't you buy an extension cable?? I know it exists for the Gamecube (I know, old console).

Well, I own a Xbox so maybe they have one. I will look into it! I don't know if they do or don't but since you mentioned it, it is a possibility!

Wait... doesn't an Xbox 360 use USB for it's controllers? I don't know, but perhaps it's possible to buy an USB-expansion cable? That way you don't have to buy something expensive. It's worth the shot!

In my opinion, Wireless is much better.
What I do not like about the wireless controllers is the low battery capacity. I think they drain to fast!

Why would you chose a wired control over a wirelss controler?

  13. Level 2 Mingler 20%

I prefer wireless. It allows me to sit further away from the tv and in more comfortable positions. You also don't have to worry about someone accidentally yanking it out of the socket.
