So I thought it might be a nice idea to do video blogs on the website? We have a 'how was your day' section, but I think it'd be nice to have a little video of people just talking randomly, to bore us even more with our day! It might be fun, I'll try upload one now

a few things lol dont use a webcam buy a proper vloggers camera it will make the look better buy video editing software you can add cool things in and make it look better because you can do jump cuts (i have adobe premiere pro CS5 its expensive) and do some outside it adds another good look to them
ah I'm not really bothered for all that, webcams do me fine I just want to blog, not make proper videos! lol
Nice video or vlog. With the use of video, you are a step ahead in establishing a closer relationship with your readers. This is the reason why vlogs is getting popular these days...and some vloggers are just lazy to write so they just talk.
Videos are a brilliant idea for either blog (vlog) or forum. Videos help establish a closer bond with the site visitor. Your videos could end up going viral, being passed around the Internet and thus producing more promotion for your site. Not to mention how videos would help keep down the trolls and meanies on a forum. It's much harder for a troll to trash talk someone when they have to look you in the face.
LOL that was very funny, I would be so embarrassed to have a video here, even if I was all glamed up. I am very shy in person but here you can say whatever you want and you will never meet anyone so it's easier.
I always thought I would feel the same way. And, then I bought a cheap web cam for $20 off the Internet. And, every time I turned around, I was making some kind of short video clip. My daughter loved the web cam too. She snapped a couple hundred pics of herself for her last birthday, making silly faces and just being funny, while I was out of the room. Of course, she couldn't preview the photos, not like you would with a real digital camera. They saved automatically to my computer hard drive and I found them later. It was a really nice surprise. Sometimes, she will come into my room and turn on the web cam and record herself. Those videos are always fun to watch, where she is hamming it up and acting silly in front of the camera.
