How annoying is this? I get the error message multiple times a day on twitter. You'd think if this was an ongoing problem they'd get more or faster servers or something. Irritating!!!
I actually haven't used twitter that much recently just for the fact that I cannot ever seem to get logged in. I always get the twitter over capacity page up and Im getting so fed up with it. I would have thought that they would have done something about it by now because it isnt a one off thing it is a quite frequent error..
With a site as large as twitter just like any business you'd think they'd invest in making the site constantly accessible, in my opinion it's stupid that they aren't investing in better servers to prevent this problem.
I hate it to! I try to login to mine and share some of the news that was posted on my website earlier and i get that annoying message! I can't stand it, you would think Twitter would have enough money to upgrade some servers or something.
To me, Twitter is just another distraction away from work. So, I have to limit my time on the site. Same goes for Facebook, which seems to zap all my free time. There are so many wonderful distractions on Facebook. Anyway, I never really got the hang of tweeting all those tiny messages. It's like a forum, without the room to spread out and elaborate on what you're saying.
Everyone gets it, it's just something when to many people tweet and one time. The webpage is so popular, even if they had a faster server it wouldn't make a differance. :/
I have not yet encountered this problem with Twitter. If this is true, this is indeed an annoying development. I assume that Twitter is making money just like Facebook so there could be no reason the company could not invest in more servers.
Ever heard of Twitlonger? Twitter has been a lot better on uptime lately, I guess they got the issues fixed for now.
I hate it when it happens, due to this "over capacity" thingy, I'm starting to dislike Twitter. Lately, I don't frequently visit the site, and the worst.. when I visit the site this is what greet me. Twitter over capacity problem. Hopefully they fix this problem, and lessen it to once a month occurrence. =.= Humor.
Luckily, I do not use Twitter much as I hardly find time to do anything other than work on the internet. I do not have followers and I do not follow anyone and that makes it even better for me at this point of time.
Every time I go to use Twitter for something, it's always over capacity. It usually goes after a refresh or two, but it's frigging annoying. Especially when trying to get something done. I would use it more, but I need to sort out my priorities at the moment.
The amount of Twitter over-capacities aren't surprising. Twitter has no ads, I believe, and there is really not alot of ways Twitter makes income with there website. Therefore, it is really hard to upgrade servers and/or bandwith. It's something to take into consideration. Keep in mind, this is just my opinion and it may not be fully true.
I haven't seen that error message in a while thankfully. It's extremely aggravating to see it when I'm trying to check status updates. Hopefully, they can keep the servers up long enough without overloading them. Some days I need my Twitter updates.
The over capacity can be frustrating. However, usually I don't have to wait more than a few minutes to post. It can be hard though if you want to make a timely tweet. It could be "so 30 seconds ago" if too many people are using Twitter during that amount of time.
