Natural cures for sweaty feet lol

Add 1 cup of vinegar and a drop of dish soap in a tub of lukewarm water. Immerse your feet for 10 minutes. Dry your feet with a sanitized towel. Fill the tub again with lukewarm water then add 1 cup of oatmeal. Mash the oats until the water becomes milky. This result will last for a couple of days.

Drop a couple of Lemon Tea bags in boiled water for 5 minutes. Pour the tea into a small foot tub. You can add cold water to get a preferred temperature. Soak your feet for roughly 10 minutes. Wash and pat your feet dry.

Immerse your feet in strong tea that has been brewed and cooled. Tea contains tannin, a material that can help get rid of strong odor the sweaty feet produces. The tea bags will also help kill bacteria that are likely to dwell in your feet.

Bacteria will always develop where there is plenty of moisture. Keep your feet dry as much as possible and always wear cotton socks. Cotton allows air to circulate well through your feet. Preferably, change socks at least twice a day to avoid odor.

Watch your food consumption. Specific foods and drinks can trigger an individual to sweat intensely. Consumption of spicy foods can cause people to sweat greatly. Drinks with caffeine and alcohol can also make one sweat more than usual.

I haven't had sweaty feet in a long time, now they are more like dry and the skin is really flaky. I have no idea why since I put lotion on them every day, might have to get me something for that.

Wow! Those are really excellent tips. I'm always looking for all natural ways to treat common ailments. Thanks for posting.

Feet are not meant to be encased, otherwise we would all be born wearing shoes. As I'm always telling my daughter, 'Bare feet are happy feet.' To keep feet healthy, you need to take off your shoes and walk around barefoot everyday. And, that means no socks! When you're in the house, there's no real reason to wear shoes. Of course, you could wear flat sandals if you are planning on going out.

As mentioned before, the stinky foot odor comes from build up of bacteria. Most likely, the sweat from the feet is mixing with the man-made materials of the socks or shoes to create the odor. And, that odor lingers on the feet, even when the shoes are removed. Wear all natural sandals like Birkenstocks that have a cork bed and are constructed of leather. This will help air out the feet with good circulation and allow the feet to breathe. You should notice less foot odor.

But my Dad, my boyfriend and my nephew have sweaty feet. Gosh! you should not stay in our room when they take off their shoes! Really smelly!:(

That's some good information. I suffer from sweaty feat and it always causes me to have foot rot (Fungus) because of the road marches and outfield training. It never goes away. I'll try to see if this works!

I have sweaty feet during the cold months, so I usually wear socks to absorb the sweat.

I've never had this problem for some reason, I guess my sweat comes out elsewhere. Usually armpits are worst.

Putting baking soda in your socks should cover up any sweaty foot issues. I haven't done this since I don't have sweaty feet, but baking soda is good at absorbing moisture and odors.

The only time I have sweaty feet is when I wear this one specific pair of dress shoes that require me to use dress socks. I dont know why but for some awful reason my feet sweet profusely when I wear dress socks. My feet dont get stinky (although once there was some B.O.) it's just wetness!!!

    STRANGE!!!!

Thankfully, I don't suffer from sweaty feet. However, there are a few people that I can share these tips with. :barefoot: I just can't take it any longer.

Don't have sweaty feet besides I don't wear closed leather shoes. It must be awful sitting beside someone with those stinky feet. :)
