    Would you have surgery?

    What surgery would you have?

What surgery would you not even consider?

    Have you had any surgery?

The only surgery I have had was when I had my appendix removed.
I havent had any cosmetic surgery but I would love to have a boob reduction but saying that I wouldnt go for it because of my fears lol

Haha, I'm the same but I had my tonsils removed!

I would have liposuction and lots of other ones to make me less fat :p haha

I'd never get butt or boob implants!

I would love to have surgery, shame about the price!
I'd need to make my boobs bigger - not for men to oggle or be interested, but because I'm bottom heavy and I feel misshapen and I have no confidence what so ever.
    - But then again there's alternatives to surgery, like fillers etc.

Me too, I'm another lady without her tonsils :)

Would I have surgery? Well no, I don't do needles so the thought of being sliced open for a procedure that was non essential would scare me to high heaven. If I were not such a wimp and if I was well off, I'd like my boobs putting back to where they used to be pre children.

Ohhhh im still with my tonsils as yet but get a lot of tonsillitis and the dr said if i get another bout of it they would have me in and get them taken out....so I haven't been back to gp as I really dont want to part with them :O even though I get tonsillitis so often.

I can't even stand the thought of having surgery for a necessary procedure so definitely I would never consider it for changing my image. For women who do opt for these there will always be something that they are unhappy with. They listen to what the latest trend is and since it's always changing they will keep changing.

The only surgery I would consider is gastric bypass. I am overweight and have tried and tried to lose weight by watching what I eat to no avail. I have lost 32 pounds and am proud of that, but it is still hard. I feel that if I could get gastric bypass it would be somewhat "easier" because my stomach could not hold as much food. I certainly don't want anything to happen to where I start losing weight (like sickness..Lord knows I do not want that), but I want to be able to do it on my own, and the surgery (gastric) would possibly help me achieve and maintain a normal healthy weight. I have thought about a breast lift too, cause ya know..gravity and age (I'm only 31 though..eeek) kinda tends to pull them downward..LOL

I am a big time coward so no surgeries for me, unless it is absolutely medically necessary of course.

@apickett80: Congratulations on losing the 32 pounds, believe me I understand how hard it is to even lose 5 pounds! As far as the gastric surgeries and the like to reduce the size of your stomach, that only works unless you actually follow the strict diet regimen they put you on so why not do it on your own with the help of a nutritionist? My boss got the gastric band 2 years ago to reduce the amount of food that goes into his stomach (thank God for our medical insurance), however after 2 months of his 'strict' diet and losing 20 or 25 pounds he slowly went back to his old ways and regained it all back! ( he was suposed to lose over 100 lbs but he didnt!)

Hi there Kristina! Thank you so much. It is very hard for sure. You are right, it would probably be best to just do it myself. I don't have insurance that would cover the surgery, but my insurance may cover a nutritionist. I will definitely check into that. I'm a scaredy cat too, so I probably wouldn't go for it anyway..lol :p

Me too, if ever I muster up the courage to undergo any type of surgery, breast augmentation will be first on my list. Not because I want to attract guys, but because I am not happy and confident with my current boob size. hahaha :D Being a 34B kind of s*ck.. =.=

I've never had any surgery before. I don't think I would ever consider doing any non-medically necessary procedures although I have a complex about my protruding jaw.

If given a chance, I would definitely have a skin surgery.
I've had this accident back when I was 7 years old, my skin has been burnt with boiling water and it left me with scars. Someday, if ever I can already afford it, I would be most willing to remove those scars.

When I was 5, I had a tonsillectomy, my parents told me I was going Easter Egg Hunting

I had a tubal ligation after my third child. Gall bladder taken out and knee surgery. I think that's it, actually it's enough.

I don't think I'd want any elective surgery
