Currently, I am maintaining a personal and general blog tackling on personal rants and any topics that catches my fancy. Three months ago, I started to monetized the site using Google Adsense, Chitika and CPA tecnhiques and it is earning some money I can use for some expenses. Well, not really much but for a man like me it helps a lot already. I also accept tasks in Fiverr -- blog commenting and article rewriting. Is there anybody here making money online? Please share your techniques...
Yes I work online. I do several things, from promoting bux sites to transcription work and micro tasks. I also occasionally do work for a question and answer service only available here in the USA. I used to blog, but Google banned me because I used a traffic exchange to get some traffic, and I haven't found a decent alternative yet. I like to keep the work varied to stave off the boredom so that's why I try a lot of different things.
I have ads on my forum, but I haven't made that much with them though I'm sure I've put them in the right places. Problem is my site was banned from AdSense a while ago when a malicious member clicked on them too many times, so I've been using Project Wonderful. I really hated those irrelevant Chitika ads.
Actually, since you all have forums and such, you should put a paid script into your forums. The banner ads work somewhat. But the problem is more and more people use Firefox and Chrome. Meaning they can block out your banners which means you won't get paid. Butting a paid script in your forum and/ or website negates that because it can't be blocked off.
I'm a freelancer, more of a freelance writer but I'm currently taking a break, y'know burn out. ^^ I was accepting left and right projects, and some of the projects were repetitive. Other than that, I maintain a blog too, posts in PTP sites like Mylot, and some Q&A sites.
I have blog to, have worked in just about every way there is to make money. I use Adsense as well but have not reached payout yet. Blogging has proved to be the best way to get referrals for my earning sites.
That's a good idea, but how can it prevent them from being blocked? Do they have agreements with the extension developers or something? Also, where can I find one?
Well, the banner ads you won't be able to stop from being blocked unfortunately. However, things like interstitial ads can't be block by any means. And they also pay out more. I'll give you a link to the one. Linkbucks With this, you can make interstitial and page scripts easy. All you have to do is install the code in your site
I'm new to making money online so I just doing some survey and rewards sites. Hopefully as I learn more, I can start a monetizing forum or blog.
I do forum posting, article writing, and article editing. Its not bringing in the thousands and thousands that gurus promise, but hey every little bit counts. You should be proud of any money you make with adsense these days, it is so much harder then it used to be.
I do everything from ChaCha to tasks at MTurk. I also do surveys and beta testing for a few companies. I am looking into texting services online as well as things like Weegy and KeyForCash. There is a lot of money to be made on the internet if you know where to look and what key word to use. Instead of work from home try using the word telecommute. You will come up with more legit jobs than the run of the mill work from home jobs.
Here is my stats from using Blacklabel ads in my blog for last month: Ad Zone views : 70,000 Clicks: 100+ Revenue: $7 If I was using Adsense, then the revenue would have been 10 times, but unfortunately they will never approve me.
I earn about $100 from PPD (pay per download) site, however I'm searching for a better way to make money. Currently I think that making a blog or a website would be good idea, however I'm out of ideas for anything like that and right now I'm kinda passive in money making.
My adsense was also banned and i have not reached payout there yet. I do easy to do tasks online like signing up, bookmarking and liking of pages. I am also writing some reviews for products and submitting articles on article directories which gives out profits revenue. Before, i had paid to click sites but because i am not really earning from those sites due to less to no referral at all, i am not active anymore.
I use Adf.ly, and I found that interstitial ads can get blocked, but only the ad part of it. For example, the site doesn't load, but the countdown occurs anyway. I use it because I think donating 5-8 seconds to the site is not something to whine about, especially since this only applies to outbound links.
Well as I said, the Adf.ly site would load, but the site that was being advertised wouldn't, and the countdown would occur anyway. I use AdBlock for Chrome, which seems to be blocking the advertised site.
You can always go with pop under ads now too. Those aren't s common to be blocked either last I remember.
