Who else thinks this would be an awesome idea.

I'm currently a huge WoW player I love it but I'd give it up anyway if Warner Bros released a Harry Potter MMORPG.

Apparently they said they have been thinking about this for several years and have released statements dating back to 2007 about it but have yet to release or start work on anything which is very slow progress and leaves me sceptical whether or not they would ever do this.

Obviously I think that it would have to be based on when Harry left the school not to conflict with the storyline.

But I think it would be awesome being able to do classes learn spells and have it all based on Harry Potter would be so awesome.

    Anyone else think so?

    I'd adore this.

I seen this site here they put together pictures of what it would look like and it already looks amazing and it's not even real but the possibilities are exciting I could just imagine flying around playing Quiditch duelling people in PVP throwing spells around.

Would be cool to see you could make it really unique where players could take only so many classes where they learn spells in those classes such as Defence Against The Dark Arts etc.

I'd pay good money to play a game like this in all honesty.

That would be so awesome you know!
Learn spells, walk through the school, play a adventure. Amazing.

I'm not a fan of the Harry Potter series, but I can actually see a fun MMO coming from it. A player could start at the school and join a house, and then venture out into the world. Yeah, it could be cool.

I don't think that I would like it too much. What else is there to really do outside of what happened in the series? I just can't fathom a compelling storyline.
