I did gamble. Until I finally realised I was incredibly unlucky. My brother has a gambling issue only problem is he is very very lucky and always seems to win and rarely lose. Alright for some aint it lol.
When I was in middle school and my freshmen year of high school a card game called Tonk was popular we use to play dollar games, and I use to cheat. It was never large cash though, the highest was $5. I haven't gambled since.
Gambling is one of the worst drugs out there, and that's why I don't gamble. Once you start, you think to yourself "Oh I didn't win this time, but next time I will." every time you lose, and once you win (not big money) you start gambling even more and eventually lose all your money.
I gamble every once in a while. Most people know I enjoy gambling, and I don't really think it is a problem. If you are spending $1,000 a month, yeah its a problem, but not if you can control yourself. Just play the penny slots, or bet the minimum, and you won't have a problem with gambling! It's hard to burn a whole in your pocket if you are doing it a penny at a time!
I gambled a few times but it sucks when you are not born under the lucky star. I never got anything big and that's why I don't do it anymore. I say that you should do it, you should try as many things in life as possible but keep the things under control and be aware of whether or not you're dependent on it. As soon as u see the first signs of dependence just leave it and focus on something else in life.
I do gamble occasionally now, but I feel like if I continue, then I could easily become addicted! I play craps on the weekends and poker maybe once a month at most. I usually lose, to say the least!
I used to play poker online. Now the government won't let me. I played with pennies and was pretty much a low win to break even player. Casinos aren't the same, since you can only play on one table at a time, and the stakes are a lot higher just to play. Plus, the closest one is over an hour away.
