I have a selection. J.K. Rowling she has such an awesome imagination to come up with the whole Potter story line. C.S. Lewis has such a beautiful way with words I love his works especially The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe that was amazing. I read a book by Boris Starling called Messiah that was awesome not read any of his other works but that was a good book hopefully I will get around to reading more of his books. I also like Stephen Kings novels he's a great write The Green Mile is one of my all time favourite books never before has a book made me cry like that book did pure talent.
These are old novels written by my two favorite authors. Though I read them years ago, their plots are still fresh in my mind: John Grisham's "The Partner" and Sideney Sheldon's "The Rage of Angels." I love court-room dramas, deception, betrayal, love and lust for power.
I really like Isaac Asimov, and I've read all his robot books. I also really like Tracey Hickman and Margaret Weiss, who started the Dragonlance series. Those are my favorite fantasy books.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn is my favorite author. I like the Gulag Archipelago, which to date is one of my favorite books. I also like Varlam Shalamov's works, especially Kolyma Tales and Graphite. Outside Russia, I like Mark Twain. I first read his Tom Sawyer - Huck Fin series about 15 years back, and I still love those novels.
