The great debate haha, personally i am much more of a twitter person, the overall experience of twitter is just better, no chat, no games or poking just simple what do you guys prefer, if you have a twitter account by the way, by all means come and follow www.twitter.com/iamukc
Facebook while I agree about the simplicity of Twitter it lacks essential features to me such as detailed about me interests etc etc and linking with people who have similar interests and limits your status etc but I agree the facebook features do over complicate things sometimes and take away from the enjoyable experience.
Yea that's frustrating I know you can block them but for someone as lazy as me I really just cba most of the time.
Facebook is for personal use and for keeping in touch with friends and family, but I use twitter for all web relating things..
yeah you be suprised tho what companies you fb too as its where everyone is. So companies will go where the people are. I think you will find more and more spam come into facebook and also more and more ads as that is one of fb biggest earners.
Well twitter is just that its a 1 or 2 liner version of FB Twitters mission is quite different to FB. I would say Twitter is more used for business and websites as a form of advertsing. I know FB has this issue too, But when a website gets as big as those 2 are, they have alot of power.
I prefer Twitter over Facebook but sadly the rest of the world doesn't. Facebook is where all my friends and family have migrated to since the destruction of MySpace. Twitter is awesome though, it's just used more by celebrities.
Facebook all the way! Seriously though, it's kinda simple for me. All my friends are at Facebook, hence why I am as well. I do love the simplicity of Twitter although a miss a chat function over there. Facebook has more options and that's kinda neat to see.
Facebook, I'll never be able to conquer @-ing people or whatever they do. Facebook's easy, shame about the fact they sell your details to companies :O
I meant for posts, it shows the @, whilst Facebook is sophistocated and just tags Yeah, I heard that the details you provide on Facebook, are sent to companies for them to see your interests and therefore try to sell to you. It was shown online as well, as the Wikileaks were compared with this, as the man of wikileaks was antagonized and made out to be cruel, whilst Zuckerberg was respected for it.
Facebook is easier to use in my opinion. Also, there are a lot more features that are included in facebook and twitter is lacking. I do not understand the whole @whoever or #blabla thing in twitter. My opinion is that facebook is a lot better but you are welcome to your opinion about twitter . Twitter is still decent I just think that facebook is better!
Well Twitter is a facebook without anything - just status updates. Anyway, I like Facebook more because there are more people using it and it has much more features than Twitter. I love simplicity too, but Twitter is just too simple for me Also here in Croatia not many people use Twitter so the best way to stay in contact with friends & family is - Facebook!
I like FaceBook more tells me more about a person, there likes and interests etc. As others have stated Twitter just seems like FaceBook status' and they limit your status length which is frustrating so I don't see any need for twitter on a personal level anyway for business I suppose they are useful but Twitter doesn't really offer anything Facebook doesn't.
I prefer Facebook for picture sharing and nice conversational commenting. However, I love Twitter for quick link sharing and sales deals and such. It's also nice that there are lots of widgets that allow Twitter posts to forward to Facebook so you can kill two birds with one stone.
