What do you think happens after we die?

Is it the end of full stop? Do we just lay in the ground and rot?
    Are we re-born?
Do we go to Heaven or Hell? Or maybe some kind of purgatory?

No one of course knows the true answer however we all hold our own beliefs.

So what's your belief, your personal opinion?

Great question. I believe our spirit leaves our body but we take our mind and emotions with us. Our bodies might lay in a coffin and rot. What a repulsive thought...but...I can accept that. I believe it's a graduation from this lifetime and our ancestors, loved ones and beloved pets who 'checked out' before us meet and greet us on the other side. It isn't the end...but...the beginning of a new chapter. I believe we continue to grow and evolve especially if we chose to grow and evolve during this lifetime. I believe we take our personalities and priorities with us and we continue to exist, however, we are free from the limitations of being housed in a physical body. I can't prove any of this but that's the way it works in my world. If you believe that something is true...it very possibly is true...for you.

I think there is much more to our afterlives than just a sudden end. I believe our spirits continue to live on and roam this planet even without a body. In fact, I think that the lives we are living right now is somewhat of a trial I guess. Maybe our bodies are like experiments to an extent and once the trial is finished, then there is no need for a physical form. But that's just what I think after all :p.

I believe there is much more to this life after we pass out of our fleshly bodies. I believe our souls will go wherever are hearts were most for on earth. I do believe in a heaven and hell but I don't think it necessarily means the kind that was taught in traditional churches.

I recommend a book I am currently reading, "Journey of Souls", by Dr Richard Newton. He's a psychiatrist who wrote about session of his subjects during hypnosis. Not so much a past life regression, but life before the current life, but not really life, the life between lives. It's very interesting.
