I dream a lot. Last night i dreamed that my coworker gave birth to a triplet. I held one but the umbilical cord was cut with the wrong way and he died. I did not know why i dreamed something bad like that... How often do you dream? Do you often dream something good or bad?
I have a few dreams every night. They are often about either my girlfriend or work. The worst dream I have is a recurring one where the Trex from Jurassic Park keeps chasing me.
I tend to have a dream like every other night. But the last few nights, I have been dreaming stuff very weird.
This is kind of and older post, Joe Robinson, but I will respond now that it has already been replied to. Dreaming happens for everyone about every full sleep cycle. That is, you dream pretty much every night - it is just a matter of you remembering it or not. There are considered different sleep stages and the one that most dreaming goes on is the REM stage, or that is the stage at which you remember it best (probably a bit of both.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapid_eye_movement_sleep (REM sleep)
Everytime I feel stress and out of energy I always dream about something about myself but after I'm awaken I can't recall the dream. And then after some time I was having a dejavu of a particular event, I felt I dream about it.
I always have dreams where I dream that I have woken up, gotten ready, and eaten breakfast. That's when I open my eyes and realise that I haven't even woken up yet!
I almost never dream, I have to be totally exhausted before I have any dreams. How ever two days ago when we had some stormy weather, I had a dream that I was in a tornado.
Ah re-occuring dreams/themes. I have those too. Usually it's Godzilla stomping towards my house and peeking in through the windows trying to find me... when he doesn't he uses his tongue to search for me, and when he does he shoots some radioactive fireball at me. :I I've killed him once cutting him to death with a katana, but other than that he keeps bugging me... But I sleep about 12-14 hours a day, so I dream a lot. When I oversleep I can't remember my dreams. I'm a bit of a lucid dreamer so I try to control my dreams.
I dream every night, and I usually wake up during one. This is sometimes because of my cat wanting something at 5 in the morning. When I was a kid I had nightmares every night and would scream in my sleep. I guess that means I was messed up, I don't know. But I don't yell in my sleep any more.
I usually dream when i have many problems and there are a lot of pressure on me, sometimes i can dream up to 5 dreams in one night. There is also something that used to happen to me before, i swear that i used to dream something that happens later in real life in front of my eyes, in other words i had dreamed something that i saw later in real life. Does it happen to you guys?
I dream almost every night. Most of the time they are very vivid and bright dreams. There are always trees in my dreams and a lot of the time i am flying. Then there are of course nightmares. These can make me wake up in a panic. Then other times i do not even remember what they were about. I like all my dreams though. They do keep you guessing as to where your brain comes up with a this nonsense it shows you a night.
I have at least one dream that I remember pretty much every night. Most of the time they're either really good, really bad or completely confusing. When I was younger I had night terrors, probably because of what I went through as a child. I still usually have about two night terrors a year....but those are a bit different than just regular dreams.
Sadly I don't dream too much. The last time I had a dream was sometime last month but I can't even remember when I had one before that, so when I do dream they're really special.
I have a random dreams that sometimes I forgot once I woke up. But there is one particular just two days ago that I dream of my long lost friend. I haven't seen her for ages. Probably, she thinks of me. I just pray she is okay.
I assume that I dream every night, but only a few of them really stick with me. Although I love horror movies, I have to avoid them sometimes. If I watch too many then I start dreaming about them and that's never a good feeling.
I dream about flying and I'm not talking about flying on an airplane. I remember details about flying where I 'lift off' and I'm consciously aware that I'm avoiding power lines. I know exactly where I'm going. I even dream that I have the same situation...as in real life...where flying somewhere is an option for me considering the fact that I usually walk or take the public transportation system. I love it...and...sometimes in my dreams I'm teaching other people how to fly...as well. I vividly remember my flying dreams where I don't remember other dreams I might have.
Like someone had already mentioned, everyone actually dreams EVERY time they sleep. The fact is, no one can really remember every single one. Therefore, people think they dream only once in a while. There is this practice called Lucid Dreaming, where you can actually train yourself to be aware during your dream and control it. I am sure at one point or another, all of us has experienced a dream where we actually figured out it was a dream (then we woke up lol darn!). I have practiced this myself and it is actually a LOT of fun but it takes some work (journal recordings, consistent sleep patterns etc..) and so I get lazy and just sleep like regular.
I dream almost every single night. I can remember that i've had a dream, I just can never vividly remember them. They become even less vivid as the day goes by as well. And I must admit, many of my dreams are rather strange and sometimes disturbing (talking animals, hauntings, falling off of airplanes and roller coasters). Most times, I forget about my dreams completely after I wake up. Strange how our minds work while we're asleep.
