I'm very new to the site and just noticed that some members have started a blog. Is this option available to all members? And, if so, have you started a blog, yet? What's your blog about?
I've not started a blog yet but can confirm it's open to all members. I will be starting a personal blog later I think I will make it about my thoughts I guess there will be a lot of stuff about religion and conspiracies in there because that's what really interests me but mostly it's going to be about my everyday life and happenings hopefully some stuff that will put a smile on others mushes lol.
This is a actually a very good feature of this forum available to all members who are interested. With a ready audience and fast indexing by the search engines, this can be another venue to showcase what you've got as a writer. If I have time, I will post my own blog soon.
I am very new here too. I havent started a blog here and actually i dont know how. After i get more familiar with this forum i might think about it. I think its fun enough to make posts here
Search engines love blogs with good content. The important point is to update the blog several times daily, if only with short posts. That's what I have found in my experience as an online blogger. The blogs that update the most are likely to be found on page one of Google for any chosen keyword. Also, back-linking to the blog from other bookmarking sites helps the blog get more traffic from Google.
Yes, it is available to all members. The "blog" part of the site is at the top of the User CP bar. I have about three blog entries. I am new to blogging, and it is actually pretty fun and interesting! I love reading people's comments on my blog!
I don't have a blog here. I will check it. Thanks for sharing. re: about back linking I can't still figure it out of how it really works..
Actually, I didn't notice there was a blog section. I think, I did glanced at it yesterday and I was thinking twas some twitter updates. I'm not sure what to blog about, I'm thinking something about money making strategies and sites other than the convenient ways of earning or, relationship blog, or just something stupid I did for the day.
Blogging is a good past time and it's a nice money maker. I've got several successful money making blogs. But, I think the blogs here are meant more as personal community blogs. Though I don't know what the policies are for linking out to a commercial site or blog. I would have to check into that.
I haven't started a blog here because I have my own which has been running since April 2005. Lots of history, lots of things I need to ensure I don't forget. My blog is, to be an opportunity for me to look back at the things I did in past relationships or in past situations, and ensure I don't do them again. It's also a way for me to see how I have grown as a human being and as a man. It's also very useful for tracking down where, why or what I was doing at a certain time [for example, I had to provide some insurance information including any claims in the last five years. I remembered claiming for a broken window but I could not remember the date. A quick search of my blog revealed this detail]. If I didn't already have a blog, and if I felt comfortable enough in this community (I'm still new and I don't know you guys yet!), then I would have considered it.
Best reasoning ever for starting a personal blog! And, I couldn't have said it myself. Personal blogs are good for documenting all the little things in life we would usually forget. Makes me think I should get to work more on my personal blog, rather than spending all day on the business blogs. The argument could be made that when a forum goes under, your personal community blog will be history, so it's just better to start a blog on blogger or your own web space. Still a community blog is good for posting quick notes to update your friends on that forum.
Haven't started a blog here yet, but I'm considering I love forums who offer personal blogs to members.
