Stuff we believe as kids

Is santa going to be coming for me this year, cuz he bloody didnt last year lol

I keep getting you know what out for mrs santa lol but she runs off and santa never turns up

Well when we were kids there used to be an old man with a black plastic bag that would pass by our house every day. So that we would not talk to strangers my mom would tell us that he was going to take us away in the bag, lol. Me and my brother were scared of that guy until the last day we lived there.
I did not believe in any of the usual stuff like santa because my parents were Jehovas Witness and we never celebrated the traditional holidays.

The shooting star. I had this belief that I should make a wish before it fell down, and my wish would come true.

Losing a tooth in a dream meant that somebody close to you would pass away. This made me scary all the time especially when a loved one was ill.

Childhood shall be one of the sweetest time periods in our life.
When i was a kid my neighbor kept telling me that i was picked up by my parents. I would cry and ask my parents if thats true, lol. Kids are easy to trust people and thing.

I used to believe that when you swallowed a bubble gum you'll need to be operated cause the gum will stick to your organs and you wont be able to survive to see the sunrise. hahaha.

My parents did not tell me about santa tooth fairy or anything. When i did not listen to them, they would always tell the same thing again and again:"If don't behave yourself, managala(black skinned people) would come and catch you and sell you away". That is the only thing i believed in when i was a child. (sorry if this post makes you feel uncomfortable or has offended you)

I used to believe this.

But about the teeth thing I used to believe when you had a dream about falling if you ever hit the ground whilst falling that would mean either someone close to you was going to die or become very ill.

By any chance were your parents racist, sounds racist to me! Just sayin!

I believed in all of the fairy tales when I was a kid. I can remember I was around 10 years old and I still believed in Santa. I used to defend him to the death at school when the other kids said he wasn't real lol. I was for sure he was real because my mom said so LOL. And then one night my mom sat me down and said "Greg I have somet hing to tell you. Santa isn't real your father and I buy your presents and put from Santa on them. We also eat and drink the milk and cookies you leave out" I was devastated for a week LOL!

Honestly I can't really remember believing anything that I now to know to be false, other than the Santa, Tooth fairy, etc things. I do remember one other though. It was that if you found a four leaf clover you could get anything you wanted. xD So lame I know lol. One thing is true still, they are dang hard to find!

Happened to me too
Even today i will scare my niece and nephew something like that if they try to swallow the gum.

Even today some people still say something like that.
The other day my best friend called me from another city. He asked if his parents were all right and i told him yes.
The reason why he asked that was because he just had a dream that his front teeth fell down and it bleed.
I believe those things are all superstitions.

Haha, yeah, you reminded me of this one.
I was told by my parents that the apple tree would grow in my tummy since i swallowed the apple seeds.

When I was a kid, I used to believe in Santa Claus. I remember when I was a kid, I used to write letters to Santa and ask for Barbie dolls. When my mom gave me the exact thing, I became suspicious and asked her straight-out. She told me she was the one reading my letters that's why she gave me the exact gift! So much for childish belief. Now I don't believe in Santa anymore, but the mystery of it was fun while it lasted.

My mom told me a stork dropped me off on her balcony.. I believed this for years until I learned about the birds and the bees. Funny thing is that every once in a while she still tells me it was a stork that gave me to her.

Yeah I used to believe in all the normal kid stuff, Santa, Easter Bunny, etc. I also used to believe that things that were happening on TV were happening right then and they just do the same things again later when they want to show it again. They used to give us a bag of "reindeer food" in elementary school every year and I would throw it outside every year and wonder why the hell I never saw them. I probably believed a whole bunch of other stuff that I can't think of at the moment.
