My Gran just got a poodle I can't own any dogs myself because we're not allowed them in the property I live in. But my Gran loves poodles and has always had poodles she has a giant breed one. My mum also has a yorkie.
one of my friends said her mum has as she called it 'an over grown rat' lol i had a black lab a while back
My dog was a mixed breed. She was Rottweiler, Chow, and Lab. I grew up with her but unfortunately was hit and killed by a car. She was 18 years old at the time so it was really hard to see her go. What made it worse is that she was hit right in front of my house and the driver backed-up and went around her. I know he saw me too because I was at the door and saw the entire thing.
Damn dude sorry to hear that, sounds really rough couldn't imagine that and actually seeing it. I remember when our poodle died of cancer was so hard I cried and felt like apart of me was missing for ages. Horrible when pets die You didn't find it? You should have put posters up or something. Sorry for your loss.
Yeah, it's hard having pets for a good amount of time because of their lifespan is so short. Oh well though, It's going to be awhile before I can get another dog. I can't imagine having a new dog right now.
I have a dalmatian. He barks like crazy at people he doesn't know. When I feel a little bit depressed, I tell him how much I hate the world. He's a shoulder to cry on.
I also have a poodle. They are good dogs. Never get an attitude with you but rather you could with them but they still love you haha. My poodle is truly pathetic though when I/my family leaves him though. We tell him that we have to go (usually out to eat somewhere) and that we will be back soon. He then gets a real sad face and goes to curl up in his usual places. Once we get back (don't matter how long we have been gone) he "cries" as if he is being killed or something haha. Hes just terribly happy to see us.
I'm so sorry to hear that..that is horrible. --- merged: May 30, 2011 at 10:09 PM --- Bless your heart, I'm sorry. --- merged: May 30, 2011 at 10:19 PM --- We have 2 American Pit bull Terriers. Spunky, a male who is 11 years old and our female Blaney, who is 9 years old. They are our "babies".
When I was a kid, I had a mix breed German Shepherd dog. He was more like a mid-sized dog rather than the larger German Shepherd, though he looked like a full breed dog. He was very loyal and protective; the best dog I've ever had. I miss that little guy.
Aside from our two official dogs living in the residence, I have other dog which is a retriever who is always accompanying whenever I am in my farm. He is named Poly and is a great companion. Retrievers are known to be great dogs for outdoor and the wilds.
Its okay, I'm all over it now I just can't imagine getting another dog at the point. It's hard to get animals after they pass away.
Right now we only have one dog since the other dogs had passed away. It was a crossbreed of Mongrel and a local breed here in our country. We just adopted him back when he was still a puppy, abandoned near our vicinity.
